IN LAWS, OUT LAWS AND POOR LAWS.

FINAGLE'S LAWS

First: The likelihood of a thing happening is inversely proportional to its desirability.

Second: Once a job is fouled up, anything done to improve it only makes it worse.

LOWERY'S LAW

If it jams, force it
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

ZUMWALT'S FIRST LAW

The probability of failure is directly proportional to the number and importance of the people watching the test.

DOBBINS LAW

When in doubt, use a bigger hammer.

EVERITT'S FORM OF THE SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS:

Confusion (Entropy) is always increasing in society. Only if someone or some thing works extremely hard can this confusion be reduced to order in a limited region. Nevertheless, this effor will still result in an increase in the total confution of society at large.

JONES LAW:

The man who can smile when things go wrong has thought of someone he can blame it on.

MATSCHS MAMIM:

A fool at a high station is like a man at the top of a high mountain - everything appears small to him and he appears small to everybody.
